We are so happy we crossed paths with Andrew & Michael at the Adventure Van Expo in Lake Tahoe last year. We had been looking for the last 3 years. We were also debating between the Sprinter 144 & 177. Foxvans was the van build we had been looking for. Their bed system is genius; it allowed us to get a 144 with the feeling of inside space of a 177. The any elevation of the bed adds super flexibility for garage storage. The bed also folds into a couch which also gives you a dining/desk/prep area. Other things that they figured out for us: The spare tire stayed in the factory location, which was huge for us and our bike rack. We have 35 gallons of fresh water, 6 gallons of hot water, with an 11-gallon grey water tank under-mounted. Our hot water heats via engine block or electric heating. Our build is super light and no upgrade to custom suspension or shocks was necessary. We’re happy campers and can’t recommend Foxvans enough.
